Remember when...

I posted on Diana's blog, and so now it's my turn..

Do you remember when?

Here are the rules.1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! If we're only blogging friends or if you're a blog hopper who happens upon my blog regularly...leave me a comment. There must be reason you keep stopping by! Say something! If you don't have a blog or don't know how to sign in, sign up for an account! You won't regret it!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog (if you have one) and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty fun to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you... either on your blog, in my comment box, or I will email you back!

oh my dear sweet molly! okay so the first thing that came to me was the first day we met. I was soooo nervous driving up to your place at BYU-H. I had only seen pictures of you and you were soooooooooooo gorgeous it made me unbeleivably intimidated. I was sure you would not like me cuz I wasn't as pretty as you...i know weird...after all we are family now you have to like me at least a little....but i was a very scared newlywed. Okay so anyway we first see you looking over the railing from your apt in a baggy shirt and jeans with no makeup on. I was SO releived and new from that instant that we could be friends after all! Love you sis!

I have about 1000 memories that I would like to share, however if I am limited to one I'll go with the first time you and I went to the Magic Kingdom on our first day in Florida, and how fun it was watching the parade and how excited we were to be there. I have a picture of us that day, fun times. Of course I have many more stories I could tell but few are G rated, and you never know who might be reading these things...

2 comments? what a joke. the 2 comment count is in no way reflective of how many people i KNOW ADORE you and have sweet memories of you. I'm going to comment even though martin is in bed waiting for me and annoyed that i'm still up.

i remember a lot of vague-ish things: like your laugh, your quick-witted sense of humor, your ability to relate and get along with ANYBODY, your endless love for your kids. i remember you leading the relief society, inspiring us and making us all feel like we belonged. i remember one time in RS you shared that sometimes when your husband comes home, you don't feel like being affectionate because you've had kids crawling all over you all day, and i thought, "i don't know if i'll ever be able to relate to that," now i know otherwise, and shared this little story with martin a few days ago. i remember you competitive streak and a little four square. I remember always wishing i could be there for you more, since you always seemed like the person there for everybody else.

Hi, Molly! I just found your blog on Suzanne's.

I always remember you smiling. I remember thinking that you are so gorgeous, the nicest person ever, and good at everything (seriously, I rememeber the watercolor class that Sis. Gerlach taught, you were really good at that), I remember you bearing your testimony during Relief Society but the thing I remember the most is you smiling.

Oh Molly Molly Molly. One of my favorite memories of you was when I had just moved back to Hawaii and Micah wanted me to come to his games - you know..."1st Wives Club" style. I was so nervous...there you all sat, in a line. In a fierce marital bond, each of you paired to someone on the court. I had no idea what to think or how to act, I just stayed as quiet as possible & tried to blend in the best I knew how. BUT, you were one of the 1st to really start talking to me & tried to get to know me. It made me feel so much better about being there. Then I learned all those adorable kids who were sitting around you - were actually yours!! Amazing Woman, I thought. And I still continue to think that today. I have many memories that I cherish of you, going out of your way to say "Hi" or include me in things. But that will always stand out in my mind, because it accurately depicts who you are...someone who is kind & gentle & caring, even to those who you don't really know. Cheers to Friendship!!

Molly! I remember walking through TVA and just being inspired to stop in. As I came in you were just so flustered and needed a break. I think I only changed Brooke's diaper, and talked with you for a bit, but it worked. We both felt loved and better after. I hardly knew you then, and then I got your job at church and we were inseperable then...I love and miss you so much!
